The first ever high school regatta out of Sausalito Yacht Club proved to be enjoyed by all. Spectating from the Sausalito waterfront was superb, with the finish line only 80 feet from shore. Special thanks to the Trident Restaurant for reserving their dock for rotations only 300 yards from the racecourse. Racing was delayed both days while the sea breeze made its way over the Marin Headlands, but with all 24 boats on the dock directly in front of the club sailors and parents were able to relax in the beautiful clubhouse and on the deck. Two and a half sets were completed on Saturday by running until just after 6pm. On Sunday only the remaning B-division half set and a final one-and-one were able to be completed before the cutoff time. Seven races total for each division left Point Loma 1 winning, with Tamalpais next, and Windward third.
