On 16 November 2013 Coastal #5 Regatta got underway in Sunbury GA after an almost 2 hr. delay while teams waited for wind to fill in. Racing began at 11:30 with Sailors racing in a 6-8 kt NNE breeze. The wind eventually clocked around to a SE direction at 8-10 kts. Sailors had to contend with a very strong outgoing tide at the beginning of the day and finished the regatta on an equally as stong incoming tide. Fifteen boats competed which included one JV team and one combined JV team. Congratulations to Academic Magnet for winning the regatta.
