Toms River, New Jersey - Congratulations to Southern Regional’s Kayla Ellis and Amanda Attardi for winning the 1st Annual New Jersey State Girls’ High School Sailing Championship hosted at Toms River Yacht Club.Kayla and Amanda defeated the 15 boat fleet with a low score of 26 points. Toms River South’s Kiaya and Shelby Jacobs were second with 29 points while Toms River South’s Taylor Genander and Kailey Savacool rounded out the top 3 with 30 points.  The girls were treated to a sunny and near 80 degree day with great southeast breeze.
